About

Georg A. Fliege, an independent security sector reform consultant and an experienced project leader, has worked across a number of post conflict countries in multinational teams addressing conflict sensitivity, security and justice reform. 

 

He graduated with the First and Second State Exam in Law in Munich, Germany and entered federal law enforcement gaining experience in investigation, crime analysis, crime intelligence, and VIP protection. Mid-career, he graduated from the M.A. program in Criminal Justice Administration at Boise State University.

He has worked as liaison officer in the Foreign Law Enforcement Communities in Afghanistan and China.  Serving in field missions in Liberia, South Sudan, Mali, and most recently Iraq both for the United Nations and the European Union as well as HQ functions in New York and Brindisi, Italy.
